About Local 268 Members
Members of LIUNA are experienced Construction Craft Laborers that rely on a diverse set of skills, performed on a wide variety of jobsites. LIUNA members build roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, tunnels, transit and energy systems as well as work on demolition and renovation projects. Members assist in the construction and maintenance of power plants and substations, dig trenches for lines, and repair roads after line installation, and build supporting infrastructure such as oil and gas pipelines.

The strength of our union is built on the active participation of members. Attending monthly Local Union membership meetings is the best way to protect what you have and make sure the benefits of union membership are available to the next generation. When you attend local meetings, you can find out what your union is doing, have a voice in decision-making and meet fellow members who may be able to give you useful tips for navigating in our industry.
